Is Big Brother watching? Don't ask McAfee
Network Associates' McAfee anti-virus software will no longer scan for a program that lets third parties access and take contol of other computers.
NetBus Pro, described as a "remote administration tool" by its maker, UltraAccess Networks, allows network administrators to log key strokes and take regular screen shots of another computer, retrieve cached passwords, examine browser bookmarks, peruse e-mail messages and address books, and activate the user's microphone and Web-cam without their knowledge.
