Irwin's Wikipedia page defaced by ever-"amusing" scumbags
The Wikipedia page of the late Steve Irwin has been locked down after some vandals let loose, with Australia’s Courier Mail reporting that "Within minutes of the news of Irwin’s death breaking this afternoon, someone had written : ’Steve Irwin’s dead ! LOLOLOLOLOL !’ on the biography of the Australian icon."
Classy Wikipedia strikes again. Meanwhile, in the Wikipedia talk page of Steve Irwin’s biography, we can find long and protracted (no doubt fascinating) debates on whether or not the page should be locked down, whether you say "Animal Planet" or "The Animal Planet" (one of the more respectable debates) ; and whether or not he should be considered a naturalist or a TV personality.
