iPhone release date speculated to be June 11
Columbus (OH) - The flagship cell phone from Apple is headed for a release date this June, according to media speculation. The exact date has been part of the guessing game, but reports now say that June 11 is the decided day.
According to to News.com, a customer service representative "confirmed" the date. Previous rumors were pinning down the release a few days later, on June 15.
Both dates are in the window of Appleās Worldwide Developers Conference, which is scheduled for June 11 through June 15. However, the focus of this event is largely going to be the new Mac operating system, Leopard.
