Iomega shows 8x external DVD writers

Iomega has announced two new memembers of its external DVD writer line. According to the manufacturer, the ’Super DVD Writer 8x’ and the "Super DVD QuikTouch Video Burner 8x’, read and write all DVD and CD formats, including DVD+RW (8x4x12x), DVD-RW (4x2x12x), DVD-RAM (3x), and CD-RW (24x16x32x). In addition, 24x DAE (digital audio extraction) should speed the process of ripping audio CDs. The basic model retails for $280, the QuikTouch version integrates a video capture card and is available for $360.
