IOGEAR intros mini KVM plus audio switches
IOGEAR today introduced its GCS632U MiniView Micro USB Plus and GCS612A MiniView Micro Audio KVM switches.
Both products feature six-foot permanently-attached cables, IOGEAR’s patented VSE Video Signal Enhancement technology, and switched line-level audio outputs that allow a single set of powered speakers to be shared along with a display, keyboard and mouse.
The USB switch is a self-powered and has what IOGEAR calls a "USB Sniffing" feature that reduces switching delay and allows multiple computers to be booted simultaneously. It supports Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000/XP, Mac OS 8.6 or higher and Sun Solaris workstations and requires an adapter to use the audio sharing feature with MacOS computers.
The MiniView Micro USB Plus switch is priced at $79.95 (MSRP), while the MiniView Micro Audio Switch is priced at $59.95 (MSRP). Both are available immediately .
