Investor firm acquires TDK Semiconductor
Golden Gate Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity investment firm, announced that it has acquired TDK Semiconductor for an undisclosed sum. According to a statement, TDK Semiconductor will continue to be led by the current management team and its headquarters and operations will remain based in Irvine, California. The firm will also keep its name for now until a "new name has been established."
TDK develops and manufactures analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit products for consumer, communications, and industrial applications. (THG)
