THG: To what extent do the firms Revoltec and Be quiet! work together? Isn't it the case that the same power supply units are being sold under different brand names?

Be quiet!: The Revoltec Chromus Power supply units have other characteristics which are in contrast to the Be quiet! power supply unit series. The target group which we have been trying to serve up until now with the Revoltec product line is mainly to be found in the modding and tuning segment. If we look at their preferences in selecting components, choosing components that are as quiet as possible is secondary. In particular, for the Chromus II series, we were focused on space-saving characteristics, i.e. when a modder wants to install a water cooling system or components which light up; in this case the Chromus II helps to save space with a detachable cable.

Revoltec is a subsidiary company of Listan. And, as is usually the case with subsidiary companies, on the one hand we share resources, but on the other hand each company works autonomously. Power supply units are thus developed by different product managers within the Listan group, to the extent that there is a division of target groups and brands.

THG: What does the target group for Be quiet! power supply units look like?

Be quiet!: These are users who are interested in quality and in particular in quiet operation. As often as not, they can be office users as well as private users. The trend towards living room PCs is naturally also favorable for us, since we offer quiet power supply units.

THG: Why isn't there an SLI certification from Nvidia yet? Isn't this criterion an important sales argument precisely for this segment of enthusiasts?

Be quiet!: We are in discussion with Nvidia, and certification is on its way. Similarly, we are striving for more cooperation with and certification by other component manufacturers, together with whom we can implement functional improvements, which in the final analysis will benefit the components as well.
