China had 111 million Internet users at the end of 2005
As of the end of 2005, there were 111 million Internet users in China, growing by 18.1% on-year, according to statistics released by the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC).
Of the users, 64.30 million accessed the Internet through broadband connections, increasing by 50.2% from a year earlier, according to CNNIC.
