Internet on a Jet
Well, you can't use your cell phone or other wireless devices on an airplane unless you're willing risk your life to talk to your sweetie. This we know from The Inquirer . However, you'll probably be able to get Internet access while you're airborne according to Wireless Newsfactor . Boeing intends to make airborne Internet access available in the second half of next year on the (U.S.) domestic flights of American Airlines, United Airlines, and Delta. The service, called Connexion by Boeing, isn't a perk for paying overblown prices for airfare, it'll cost you (or your company) around $20 an hour. Once again, another conspiracy to keep you working and productive at all times. No more napping on the plane folks. Better check that email from the boss and get to work. Your only solace will be that they don't know about the in-flight cocktail. Cheers.
