Intel's new P4M pricing isn't egalitarian
Though Intel is due to slash prices of its Mobile Pentium 4-M processors later this month, small notebook makers are not celebrating. They are finding that their bigger competitors with close ties with Intel are already purchasing processors at the lowered price and gaining a significant cost advantage, some local Taiwanese notebook makers reported.
