Intel's cost per die is only $40
Market research firm Instat reports that chip giant Intel is still the world leader in manufacturing and in fab capacity. Instat said that Intel has three 90 nanometre fabs in production and will have four 65 nanometre fabs including one "retrofit" and one 90nm conversion ramping in 2006.
