Intel to roll out PCI Express-based products in 2004
The new PCI Express (formerly codenamed 3GIO, or third-generation I/O) input/output standard will start being introduced into Intel's full range of products in 2004, the company announced on February 19 at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in San Jose.
