Intel to Revamp Wafer Plant
Intel announced this week that it will make a $2 billion investment in upgrading and converting its Chandler, Arizona wafer manufacturing plant into a more efficient and advanced facility, with nearly double the production capacity and lower operating costs. The work is reported to begin in 2004, with completion scheduled for 2005.
