Intel to cut P4 pricing Dec. 10
The Register has accessed "a hitherto secure Intel website" announcing that Intel Corp. plans to reduce prices on December 10. Reportedly, the reductions will affect Pentium 4, Pentium III, and Celeron processors. The exact amount of the cuts was not listed on the Website. Andrew Thomas writes, "A drop on the P4 less than three weeks after its launch smacks of either a cockup or panic."
