Intel to cut P4 prices Jan. 28
The Register is reporting details of an Intel marketing roadmap. Among the particulars is the news that 1.4 and 1.5 Pentium 4 prices will be cut to $440 and $644 on January 28th. The 1.3GHz P4 will launch at $409 and the 1GHz PIII will move from $465 to $348. The 900MHz mobile PIII will launch at $722 and the 850MHz, 800MHz and 750MHz mobiles will fall to $508, $348, and $268.
