Intel stats say PC133 SDRAM beats Rambus
Though apparently not on purpose, Intel has posted benchmark test results on its own Web site that show its 815E chip set with PC133 SDRAMs outperforming its 820 chip set with Direct Rambus memories in nine of eleven standard benchmarks. Performance figures on the two chip sets were posted in different parts of the company's site and were noticed by a reader, who pointed out the surprising fact to Semiconductor Business News.
