Intel slashes prices on PIIIs, Celerons
A month after its last round of price cuts, Intel is slashing prices on its desktop PC range of processors.
Starting tomorrow, the Santa Clara, Calif.-based chipmaker will offer ten to 25 percent discounts on its Pentium III chips. Prices will also be reduced on the company's low-end Celeron chips and high-end Xeon workstation processors.
