Intel signals March 4 price cuts
The Register says Intel Corp. has warned its channel that certain chip prices will be cut this March 4. Pentium 4s will come down in price, at most, by a few percent. PIIIs from 1GHz to 750MHz will fall between 6 and 11 percent while Celeron chip prices will be cut by as much as 19 percent.
