According to The Register, sources close to Intel Japan have revealed to the British-based publication that the Pentium 4 "Foster" server, which they call a P4 doppelganger because of its similarities, will support double data rate (DDR) memory. This further departure from the company's committment to Rambus expands Intel's choice-in-memory policy.
