Intel profit surges 89 percent to $1.73 billion
Intel reported an 89 percent rise in quarterly profit on Tuesday as the world’s largest producer of microchips benefited from stronger demand for computers. The company reported earnings of $1.73 billion on revenue of $8.09 billion.
