Intel preps new "extreme edition" chips for Socket 478, Socket 775
According to a X-Bit labs news post, socket 478 may just happen to have a bit more life left in it. Intel may release a 3.6 GHz P4, 3.6 GHz P4 EE, and even maybe a 3.8 GHz P4 for the the socket 478.
