Intel launches new system-platform alliance
A long-time processor and chipset supplier, Intel on October 14 extended its attention into the PC manufacturing sector by teaming up with 12 PC hardware makers in Asia. Through the new "Innovation Alliance," Intel hopes to build a closer production relationship with its PC manufacturing partners by offering them design concepts and research on system products.
