Intel launches 933MHz PIII, Xeon processors
Intel has introduced 933-MHz Pentium III and Xeon processors.
Designed for the emerging thin server market, the new Xeon - manufactured with 256 kBytes of on-board cache - costs $794 in 1,000-unit lots.
The 933-MHz Pentium III desktop processor, priced at $744, is available in both SECC-2 slot and FC-PGA "flip-chip" packaging.
