Intel indicates prices for Smithfield, 64-bit 600 CPUs
Intel has indicated the pricing of its first dual-core Smithfield processors for the desktop, which will be launched in the second quarter instead of the third quarter as originally planned, according to sources at Taiwan OEM PC and motherboard makers. However, general availability of the dual-core CPUs is only expected to start in the third quarter, the sources added.
