Intel in deal for smart stadium seats

Intel and CSI are teaming up to develop PC-based services that will deliver instant replays, real-time statistics and other data to fans attending professional sporting events.

The services will be delivered via 10", touch-screen monitors, built into the backs of stadium seats.

The technology lets fans select from multiple camera angles, replays and statistics. They can also use the systems to purchase merchandise and concessions. A version of the service was recently unveiled at Madison Square Garden in New York.
