Intel Forms Single Communications Group
Intel Corp. on Wednesday said it’s combining its communications-related businesses into a single organization that will be called the Intel Communications Group. "Sean Maloney, executive vice president and general manager of the old ICG, will head the new organization. The combined group, comprising the ICG and the Wireless Communications and Computing Group, will focus on technologies for the cellular and handheld computing market segments."
