Intel details FTC settlement
Intel Corp. says it's pleased that the settlement agreement submitted last week has been approved by the Federal Trade Commission.
The agreement was jointly developed by Intel and FTC's Bureau of Competition to settle the pending litigation between them.
A key principle of the order is that if an intellectual property dispute arises, and the customer chooses to waive its right to seek an injunction to block the manufacture and sale of Intel's products, Intel will continue to provide certain product information and samples.
Copies of the order can be found at www.intel.com/pressroom .
