Jumping the gun on a week of chip launches with a Sunday announcement, Intel debuted its three delayed higher-speed Celeron microprocessors. They will run at 700, 667 and 633MHz and, in quantities of a 1,000 chips, the processors will sell for $192, $170 and $138 apiece. An Intel spokesman said, "The infrastructure is there. The motherboards are there, so this can ramp very quickly in the marketplace."
