Intel Debuts New Flash Memory for Mobile Phones
Intel said it will unveil new flash memory for mobile phones on Tuesday that is designed to allow handset manufacturers to add advanced functionality at lower cost. "The StrataFlash Wireless Memory chips are based on Intel’s new Multi-Level Cell technology that doubles the amount of data that can be stored on one transistor, said Curt Nichols, vice president for Intel’s Flash Products Group."
