Intel clocking software found on Web
A hardware site has posted a piece of software that appears capable of altering clock speed settings on some Intel motherboards.
The 27 kB utility is up on the www.hardocp.com site.
A source at Intel has provided The Register with details of the utility, saying it only affects "unlocked CPUs" that have the words 'Intel Confidential' on them. 600MHz PIII 'confidentials' will run at 650MHz with the software utility.
