It's only fair that I throw at least one bone to all you Intel-bashers out there: While Intel has consistently shrunk die sizes, the world's largest semiconductor company just can't seem to gets its events planning department to apply Moore's law to its IDF forum by packing everything so the event lasts only three days.

Of course, dutiful members of the world's geek press continue to trudge along to these things, lap it all up, and act like a bunch of Gaul's watching Caeser marching by with the glorious sixth and tenth legions. Sure, it's all magnificent and frightening, but gosh darn it, it would be so nice if they were to just hurry up and get on their way.
