Intel acquires $16 million stake in Grisoft
Despite the fact that Monday was a holiday for the U.S., it looks like American chipmaker Intel was busy over the weekend. On Tuesday, the company announced that it had paid $16 million for a 65 percent stake in software developer Grisoft and its flagship AVG Anti-Virus product. The deal, which totaled $52 million, also saw a $36 million investment from private equity firm Enterprise Investors.
