Intel prices its first 45nm processor at $999, to hit the market in Q4
Intel’s first 45nm processor is expected be a quad-core Core 2 Extreme, to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year priced at $999, according to sources at motherboard makersThe processor will have a frequency of 3.33 GHz, a 1333 MHz FSB (front side bus) and 12 MB L2 Cache, up from 8 MB previously, according to the sources.
