Intel 1.7GHz Celeron said to be in tight supply
Tight supply of Socket 478-based 1.7GHz Celeron processors was recently reported in the Asia-Pacific region. According to local distributors, the problem was prompted by continuing demand for low-price PCs and an adjustment by Intel to its supply strategy.
