Intel Corp. and Broadcom Corp. have both announced that their trade secret lawsuits against one another have been settled. Both sides have given up all claims though the terms of the settlement are secret.
Intel had claimed that Broadcom stole trade secrets by hiring key Intel employees. Broadcom countersued, saying that Intel had based its communications chips on stolen Broadcom technology. Another Intel suit against Broadcom over patents pertaining to networking, packaging and video compression remains unsettled.
