Innoveda Inc. has agreed to buy PADS Software Inc., valued at $32 million, to form one company that will rank fourth among providers of pc-board software, behind Cadence Design Systems, Mentor Graphics, and Zuken. Innoveda, gaining a CAD for the pc-board market, will be, according to analysts, the primary NT player.
