Infineon aims to be number two in the graphics memory market
Eyeing the expected substantial demand growth for graphics-use memory, Infineon Technologies aims to boost its related market share to over 25%, with all production scheduled to be performed at Infineon’s fabs, according to Infineon Asia Pacific graphics RAM marketing manager Ken Su.
Infineon indicated that its graphics-use memory market share has grown from 4% in the first quarter of this year to 18% presently.
