Infineon-Mosel split's effect on the DRAM spot market
Infineon Technologies said in a statement Friday that it was due to Mosel Vitelic's repeated breach of contract that it has canceled its shareholder agreement on the ProMOS joint venture with the Taiwanese firm. The termination of the agreement is effective January 1, 2003.
The Infineon Technologies-Mosel Vitelic split on their ProMOS Technologies joint venture looks likely to make some waves in the DRAM industry - starting with the spot market.
