Patriot Adds SandForce SSD With Inferno Series
SandForce equals fast.
The SandForce SSD controller is currently one the fastest performing solutions for solid state drives and Patriot has just added one to its lineup with the introduction of the Inferno series.
Patriot's Inferno series, available in 100GB and 200GB capacities, delivers sequential read and write speeds of 285MB/s and 275MB/s respectively.

would make a nice replacement for my current 80GB boot drive...
Maybe they deliberately did not reveal the price ...
Nice but I'd guess that SATA3 drives are only around the corner (some already available)... it seems to me that SATA2 is holding these drives back and raiding them is a waste of time... Not that I can afford it but a guy can dream
