Aeneon DDR2-533: Unbeatable Price/Performance

Ad

Despite our efforts to procure a 667 module, Aeneon only sent us a 533 model. An explanation is that Aeneon is the newly-founded budget brand from memory manufacturer Infineon. Despite the label, however, the module ran at 667 (333 MHz) along with CL4.0 timings without a hitch - without even boosting the voltage. As a consequence, this memory represents an unbeatable price/performance ratio. Many other test candidates would do very well to follow this example.
