Lock On: Modern Air Combat is a bit like Microsoft Flight Simulator with heat seeking missiles. It's not World War II, with dodgy navigation and cannon, it's high tech, high speed and err... high up in the sky. Yes, that's an appropriate statement to make. It's also so good that it's being re-released in the ever so cleverly named Lock On Gold package.

The Gold edition adds the SU-25T [It's Russian -Ed] as a flyable aircraft, new training missions, three new campaigns, new aircraft skins and new terrain skins.

Originally released in 2003, Lock On isn't looking too bad at all for its age. I could make some joke about it not being bad graphics, just a Soviet airfield, but my heart just isn't into making red jokes anymore.
