IDC shows off new supercomputer benchmarks
IDC has introduced a new way of ranking supercomputers. Called the IDC Balanced Rating, the benchmarks are supposedly better than Linpack Fortran benchmarks, used since the dawn of time to rank super computers. This is the second time around for the benchmark - there have been revisions made, following vendor criticism when the first results were published last November.
