id reveals Doom 3 system requirements
In an interview with the Houston Chronicle, id chief executive Todd Hollenshead talked about the minimum system requirements for Doom 3, which will hit retails shelves on August 3.
According to Hollenshead, gamers will need a 1.5-gigahertz Intel Pentium 4 chip or AMD Athlon 1500, 384 megaBytes of memory, two gigabytes of hard drive space, an nVidia GeForce 3 graphics card or better - or alternatively an ATI 8500 or better.
