ICP's Solar Charger for Cell Phones and Other Small Wonders

Being able to charge you cell phone using solar power could come in handy if you're boating, camping or anywhere else where you don't have access to an electric outlet or car cigarette lighter. In fact, nowadays not every car even has a cigarette lighter. ICP Global Technologies just let us that its new Portable Solar Charger, code-named "iSun" is now being released as a renewable and portable power charger for cell phones, mp3 players, PDAs, laptops and other small electronic devices. With a footprint no larger than a VHS cassette, and a weight of less than 350 grams, iSun is available in 2 versions, the iSun and the iSunSport. The iSun is intended for business or leisure travelers and the iSunSport features increased weather resistance for outdoor recreational use. Each package includes a 12Volt cigarette lighter socket, 7 plugs for most small electronics and suction cups to mount the unit on windows. Various accessories will be launched in the near future.
