IBM to launch all-in-one PCs
IBM Personal Systems Group has unveiled an all-in-one PC design.
Part of the PSG division's Edge of the Network, or EON strategy, the integrated unit with the code-name `Luxor' sports a 15" flat panel display. A CD ROM and floppy drive that drop down from the bottom of the display with the push of a button.
Luxor was among a half-dozen devices displayed this week, and slated for a second-quarter launch.
The sub-$2,000 unit will be available with a 20GB hard drive, a full-sized keyboard, seven USB ports and two PCI expansion slots.
