IBM OEMs to Acer

by - source: Tom's Hardware

Reports indicate that IBM Corp. has reached an OEM agreement with Acer, in which IBM will provide hard disks and other technologies to the Taiwan-based company.

Acer has a longstanding relationship with IBM, which includes licensing of the OS/2 operating system for Acer servers, and support of the IBM chip-set technology on its motherboards.
