IBM and Red Hat target Linux at emerging markets
Linux distributor Red Hat has expanded on its existing partnership with IBM to launch a joint initiative designed to accelerate the adoption of Linux in emerging markets such as China, India, Russia, and Korea.
The initiative sees the two companies providing software developers with technical resources, and implementation services to help them port new applications to IBM software and Raleigh, North Carolina-based Red Hat’s Enterprise Linux.
