The iPhone is on it’s way to Britain and with the phone set to go on sale tomorrow at 6.00pm sharp, experts have revealed that there is confusion in the ranks. . .

It seems a lot of the punters have no clue where they can and can’t buy their iPhone. In a survey it turns out that most people have no idea that the phones can only be bought in Apple stores, Carphone Warehouse and O2 shops. Most potential buyers who have been counting down the days to the iPhone release don’t realise that it’s not more widely available on the high street.

3 percent of the UK plan on buying an iPhone and this figure is up from a measly 1 percent from previous research. Of that 3 percent, 24 percent think they can bag a phone in The Link or Phones 4 U, 21 percent think Curry’s will stock the phone, Dixons will no doubt turn a few iPhone wanters away from the doors with 21 percent of potential buyers thinking they can count on the electronics store for the iPhone and 19 percent thinking John Lewis is their man.

So, if you’re got your 270 odd in your wallet and you’re all geared up for tomorrow evening, don’t forget, Carphone Warehouse, O2 and Apple stores are your only friends in this business.
