Man Finds Pictures of Factory Worker on New iPhone 3G
An iPhone owner in the UK has posted pictures online that he claims to have already been on their iPhone 3G when he purchased the phone.
A member on the MacRumors forums posted pictures said he had found once he’d got home and activated his iPhone through iTunes. The home screen on his iPhone displayed a Chinese factory worker over what looked like an iPhone production line.
"Not sure if this is or is not the ’norm’ but I just received my brand new iPhone here in the UK and once it had been activated on iTunes I found that the home screen (the screen you can personalize with a photo) already had a photo set against it !!!!"
The woman in the pictures (three in total) is dressed in a pink and white striped smock with a matching peaked cap and sporting white gloves with yellow fingertips. She’s seen leaning over an unboxed iPhone flashing two victory signs.
Several news reports suggested the woman may work at a factory run by Apple contractor, Foxconn Technology in Shenzhen, China and a number of Chinese newspapers have reported confirmation of this fact from Foxconn.
According to the Associated Press, a Foxconn spokesperson said workers took the pictures to test the camera on the phone and just forgot to delete them and reports on Wired say an unnamed Foxconn rep was quoted by a Chinese newspaper as saying the young girl was “definitely not fired” from her position in the factory.

"... the young girl was “definitely not fired” from her position in the factory."
Well, of course not. The girl did not take the photos. ;^)
I met a Chinese girl a few years ago. She was pretty in a Chinese way. She was about 5ft 2in. With nice black hair down to her shoulders. She could speak English quite well. She was very polite and soft spoken. She had a very sweet attractive Chinese accent. I loved listening to her.
I remember talking to her about Ireland. I thought that what I was saying was boring, but she listened attentively and without showing ant sign of impatience. She radiated everything that is charming about China and its culture.
From her I developed a love for China. I realise now that there is much more to China than Mao Zedong and 60 years of communism repressing the people with their hard-line policies.
The Chinese leaders a corrupted. They have brainwashed and imprisoned their citizens for 60 years. They leaders live like lords while the ordinary people have to toil for long hours to eek out a meager living. But there is a softer, beautiful side to China. The pretty young ladies, with hearts of gold.
If you have a Chinese girlfriend consider yourself very lucky. The Chinese girls are real sweethearts. Unfortunately the girl I met already had a Chinese boyfriend and she didn't want me as well.
That was a few years ago. I really miss her. I will remember her with longing for the rest of my life. She put China on the map for me. My wish in like is to marry a Chines girl, or someone from the Philippines.
