Hyundai samples low power 128 Mbit DDR memory
Hyundai Electronics Industries is producing samples of 128-mbit DDR SDRAM for the DDR266 or PC2100 standards manufactured using 0.18-micron process technology. The DRAMs operate on 2.5 volts at 133-MHz. Production shipments will begin in Q2 2001, according to the Korean company. Hyundai portrays the high-bandwidth device as a reiteration of its commitment to DDR technology.
